Natalie Mai Hall is an experimental cellist known for her unconventional style and use of guitar pedals. After studying cello performance at the University of Washington under Toby Saks and gaining a love for improvisation from Cafe Racer's 'Racer Sessions,' she toured with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on 'The Heist' tour and recorded on their Grammy-winning album. Natalie was the principal cellist of the Seattle Rock Orchestra (2011-2017). She has performed with mega acts, including Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Disturbed, and most lately, the Eagles, and local artists, including All-Star Opera, Noah Gundersen, and Beth Whitney. Natalie is known for her wild cello playing in the band Intisaar, comprised of Intisaar Jubran and Burke Thomas (Vendetta Red and Loaded). Intisaar's acclaimed album 'Borrowed Ground' showcases affected cello lines spanning shredding solos, counter-melodies, bass lines, and ambient noise. Recently, Natalie has partnered with visual and electronic artist Vincent Bachmann to form NV Electronica, under which they released a run of live effected improvisations titled 'Strawberry Drops.'
